Seiko 5 Sports SNZG15K1 Automatic Men’s Watch

The Japanese manufacture unveils the second version of its bestseller: the Seiko 5 Military 2, also known as the sweet name SNZG15K1. Waterproof to 100 meters, diameter enlarged to 41 mm, readability of indexes and hands increased, this new version has something to please men in search of a casual watch with practical advantage in everyday life…

On the color side, the black was chosen on the front of the case, to the detriment of the brilliant silver found on the back of the watch as well as safe between-horns. As it was with the first version, the contrast with the black of the nylon strap and the dial is successful.

Note also the presence of Lumibrite, a component developed by Seiko to read the time, even in the darkest recesses…

Movement

The 7S36C Caliber designed by Seiko is very similar to the 7S26C present in the first version. It has a date complication at 3 o’clock, offering a weekday indicator and a date window.

Adjustment of this is easily done by pulling the crown of a notch, the second notch allows for the setting of the time.
